What is stored in your browser
To save you re-entering choices, the site keeps a few settings in your browser’s local storage. They stay on this device, are never sent to us and do not sync to other devices.
| Key | What it stores |
|---|---|
units-converter-kitchen-v1 | Your kitchen settings: the ingredient last chosen, cup size, spoon set, and your own cup volume if you chose “My cup”. Saved only when you change a field in a kitchen converter, not when you open the page. The amount you type is not saved. |
units-converter-gold-v1 | Your jeweller’s grams per tola and per ratti. Saved only if you tick “Remember these two values on this device”. |
units-converter-land-v1 | The state you last chose on the land converter. Saved only when you choose a state. |
If your browser blocks storage, the converters still work; they just forget your choices.
