What to include in a correction

• The page address and the value you think is wrong.
• The value you expected, and the official or published source for it (a link, or the document name and date).
• For land units, the state and, if you know it, the revenue office or record that uses the value.

Please do not send personal documents, land records or bills; a source we can open ourselves is enough.

What happens next

We review every correction against the source. If the source supports it, we change the figure, update the page’s review date and add an entry to the log below. If it does not, we reply and explain why.
